Annette came on board as my bookkeeper and therefore, part of the Jay Vee Landscaping and Alowyn Gardens teams in September 2001.
Communication is essential and flexibility when appointments need to be changed is as important as getting the work done on time.
Unicorn Bookkeeping is an integral part of my business team and I depend on Annette to help me achieve my administrative goals. Annette (Unicorn Bookkeeping) was recommended to us by our Marketing Consultant and came on board as our bookkeeper almost six years ago. Since then we have built an excellent working relationship and I can rely totally on the accuracy of the monthly figures she produces which I present to our Board of Trustees.
Our Payroll is processed weekly and Annette has no trouble reconciling at the end of each year, producing PAYG Certificates and reporting to the Tax Department and State Revenue Office with the least fuss. The need for accuracy is self-explanatory when Work Cover, Superannuation, Payroll Tax and PAYG are involved.
Annette does all of our financial data processing - Sales and Receipts and Purchases and Payables. Our figures are audited each year and Year End queries can usually be finalized in around one day.
Annette's experience out in the field has often been invaluable when different issues arise. Her positive attitude to her work makes her a valuable member of the team.

It's been quite a while since 2006 when Animal Aid wrote a testimonial for Annette of Unicorn Bookkeeping. I am pleased to say that she is still an integral member of our team after more than eight years and it goes without saying that after all this time we have built a strong mutual working relationship which is invaluable.

Over the last two years I have worked as a fundraising consultant for Animal Aid. My work has involved looking at raising money while ensuring that all activities and events make a surplus.
